Final Results 2009
After the conclusion of the event it was discovered that an error was made during the calculation of the final
results for the event. This prompted a complete total review of the final results to understand exactly what happened
and why. Once the source of the error was identified and understood the scores were recalculated which affected the
outcome of the standings for the event. All of the teams that were affected by the error were then contacted and the
error was explained so that it was understood what happened, how it happened, and the steps that are being taken to
prevent this from ever happening again.
Our desire is to hold a well run and fair event that everyone can enjoy. Part of that is to ensure that the integrity
of the event is beyond question and that the competitors can trust us to run a fair event. By admitting that we made a
mistake and resolving that mistake we hope to retain that integrity and hopefully your respect.
I cannot express enough how unhappy we are with this mistake and we wish to express our most sincere apologies to
all of the competitors.
